N.Y. Army Reserve center contract to Conn. companies

The U.S. Army awarded a Connecticut builder a $20 million contract to build a new military reserve center in New Windsor, N.Y.

O&G/DTC Engineers and Constructors beat out 11 bidders to build the Stewart Newburgh Armed Forces Reserve Center, which is scheduled for completion in January 2009.

The company is a joint venture run by Diversified Technology Consultants (DTC) of North Haven and O&G Industries Inc. of Torrington.

In 2002, DTC won a $50 million Army contract to consult on the construction and maintenance of reserve centers and other military facilities.
