Even Anthony Costa, who has been in the banking business for 43 years, has trouble keeping track of all the name changes going on in his industry. What he doesn’t have a problem with is keeping track of the success of Empire State Bank, which he formed with a group of investors in 2004. It has grown from seed capital of $16.5 million to more than $100 million in assets in three short years.
