7. It’s that time of year and the Chester Kiwanis Club continues its 20-year-old tradition of bringing flower bulbs, potting soil and flowerpots to children at Inspire Kids Preschool.

8. Dwajuana Stokes was one of the models at the Dutchess Community College fashion show March 21. The show, sponsored by the college office of counseling and career services and student activities office and the Dress Barn, was a prelude to the Hudson Valley Job Fair April 18. The fair is sponsored by the college and the New York State Department of Labor.
