Roger Pujol of Peekskill, assistant general manager at Altman Lighting, Yonkers, a manufacturer of theatrical and architectural lighting products, received the Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) designation from APICS, The Association for Operations Management, Alexandria, Va., an educational society representing manufacturing and service industry professionals.

The Harbors at Haverstraw, a new master planned waterfront community in Haverstraw, built by Ginsburg Development Cos., Valhalla, received seven 2006 awards from the National Association of Home Builders, including national citations for Best Master-Planned Community, Best Landscape Design for an Attached Community, and Best Sales Environment. The Harbors also received five Pinnacle Awards from the Builders Association of the Hudson Valley, New Windsor.

The Original Tube T-shirt Company L.L.C., Goshen, a provider of promotional products and advertising specialty items, received an award from BIC Graphic USA, a manufacturer of stationery products, lighters and shavers, and promotional products, for an outstanding distributor partnership in 2006.

The Putnam County chapter of the New York State Association for Retarded Children Inc. received a $10,000 grant from Provident Bank Charitable Foundation, Montebello, to help fund the organization’s autism resource center.

GMG Public Relations Inc., Nanuet, a public relations firm, announced that it has been hired by Arkansas-based Canvas Corp. to promote its new line of home decorating products.
