Germaine
Arginteanu of Nyack was appointed director
of development at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Sparkill.
Since 1998, Arginteanu worked at Dominican College,
Orangeburg, most recently as major-gifts officer and
initially as director of public relations. Prior to
that, she was director of public relations and marketing
at the Hudson Valley Children’s Museum, Nyack. Arginteanu
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from New
York University and a Master of Business Administration
degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
Shannon
Boyle of Orangeburg was promoted to director
of human resource operations at Union State Bank, Orangeburg.
Boyle has been an assistant vice president since April
2006. She was a human resources generalist since 2001.
Prior to that, she was a marketing technical coordinator.
She joined the bank in 1996 as a management associate.
Boyle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business
administration from St. Thomas Aquinas College.
Josh
Crum of Wappingers Falls was appointed marketing
director at Digitech Computer Inc., Briarcliff Manor,
a provider of billing and collection solutions for the
ambulance industry. Since 2003, Crum was marketing manager
at Reed Exhibition, Norwalk, Conn. He holds a Bachelor
of Science degree in marketing from Marist College.
Dr.
Eric Teitel of Somers was elected president
of the medical staff at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel.
Teitel is a gastroenterologist at the hospital. He holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University
of New York at Brockport and a medical degree from New
York Medical College.
Naomi
L. Adler of Nyack, president and chief professional
officer of United Way of Rockland County, Nyack, was
elected to the board of directors of United Way of New
York State, Albany. Adler holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
in politics from Mount Holyoke College and a Doctor
of Jurisprudence degree from the State University of
New York at Buffalo.
Maria
G. Diana of Goshen was appointed to the board
of trustees of SUNY Orange, Middleton. Before retiring
in 2004, Diana was chairperson of the counseling department
at the Minisink Valley School District. She holds a
bachelor’s degree in English education, a master’s degree
in student personnel and a Specialist in Education degree
in counseling, all from the State University of New
York at Albany.
Marjorie
Finer of Cortlandt, the co-owner of The Inner
Group, Cortlandt, a graphic design firm, was named to
the board of directors of the Women’s Enterprise Development
Center (WEDC), White Plains, a women’s business center
that serves women entrepreneurs. Finer is also chair
of The Alliance of Hudson Valley Women Business Owners,
a WEDC affiliate. She holds a Bachelor of Professional
Studies degree in visual communications from Empire
State College.
